Worth knowing before you buy

To keep it this light, the Mg2 has no suspension, small solid wheels and a modest range — about 6.2 miles on the standard battery. It's happiest on smooth pavements, in shops and around airports, rather than on grass, gravel or long rides. The weight limit is also lower than many scooters. If you're a heavier rider, want a smoother ride, or plan to cover longer distances, a larger boot scooter that comes apart into pieces, or a mid-size scooter, will suit you better.

No. It folds in one piece and you lift the whole scooter — 14.7 kg plus the battery, which you can lift out separately.

Can I take it on a plane?
The lithium batteries are airline-safe. Each airline has its own booking rules, so always let them know before you fly.

How far will it go?
About 6.2 miles (10 km) on the 10 Ah battery and up to 12.5 miles (20 km) on the 20 Ah battery, depending on the rider, hills and weather.
