Specifications
An ultra-light scooter that goes wherever you go
The Pride GoGo MgLite is built for people who want a scooter they can take anywhere without a struggle. Its magnesium frame weighs just 12 kg without the battery, so it's one of the lightest scooters around and fits easily into almost any car boot.
It's a natural fit for holidays, days out and running errands, and the lithium battery is flight safe, so it can come with you on the plane too.

Who it suits best
- You want a very light scooter for the car boot
- You'd like to take a scooter on holiday or on a plane
- Riders up to 19 stone (120 kg)
- Shorter trips on pavements, in shops and indoors
Worth knowing before you buy
To keep the weight down, the MgLite has small solid wheels and a range of about 9.3 miles on a charge. It's happiest on smooth pavements, in shops and around airports rather than on grass, gravel or long rides. If you want a smoother ride or to travel further, a larger boot scooter or a mid-size scooter may suit you better.

More questions about mobility scooters
How much does a mobility scooter cost?
It depends mostly on the type. Small boot scooters that come apart for the car are the most affordable, and larger 8 mph road scooters cost more. Every price is on the product page. If you have a long-term condition, you may be able to buy it VAT-free.
What's the difference between a Class 2 and a Class 3 scooter?
A Class 2 scooter goes up to 4 mph and is for pavements only. A Class 3 scooter goes up to 8 mph, can be used on the road and must be registered with the DVLA, which is free.
Will a mobility scooter fit in my car?
Boot scooters fold or come apart into lighter pieces that fit most car boots. Check the weight of the heaviest piece on the product page, and if lifting is a worry a car hoist can do it for you.
Can I try a scooter before I buy?
We don't keep every model in stock, so give us a call on 01789 339 738 first and we'll check it's in our Stratford-upon-Avon showroom. If it isn't, we can usually arrange a demo model for you.
Can I get a mobility scooter through Motability?
Yes. We're Motability approved, so if you receive a qualifying mobility allowance you can use it towards a new scooter or electric wheelchair. Call us and we'll talk you through how it works.
