Supportive seating and a confident ride, indoors and out
If you spend most of your day in your wheelchair, the seat matters as much as the motors. The QUICKIE Q700 M Sedeo Pro is a mid-wheel drive electric wheelchair, also known as a powerchair, built around a seating system that can be set up for your body, your posture and the way you sit.
Mid-wheel drive means the big wheels sit right under you, so the chair turns almost on the spot. That makes kitchens, hallways and getting under a table far easier, while the suspension keeps the ride steady when you head outside onto pavements and paths.
✅ Key Features & Benefits
Sedeo Pro adjustable seating
Seat width, depth, backrest, legrests, armrests and headrest can all be adjusted, so you sit well supported. A big help if you have weak core muscles, a curved spine or get sore after long spells sitting.Turns in a tight space
With the drive wheels in the middle and a turning radius of 560–630 mm, you can turn round in a small kitchen or bathroom doorway without a three-point turn.Power tilt and recline
Tilt the seat up to 50° and recline the backrest from 90° to 150° to change position through the day. Shifting your weight like this can ease pressure on your bottom and back and help you rest without moving to a bed.SpiderTrac 2.0 suspension
All six wheels move independently, so bumps and dropped kerbs are softened rather than felt through your back and neck.Low seat height from 415 mm
Lets you sit up close to the table, desk or kitchen worktop, so meals and hobbies feel normal again.Power elevating legrests
Raise your legs at the touch of a button, which is useful if you have swollen ankles or find it uncomfortable to sit with your knees bent for long.R-Net joystick with HD display
Clear screen and buttons you can programme for the jobs you use most. Optional Bluetooth and infrared let you work your phone or TV from the chair.Alternative controls available
If a standard joystick is hard for you, smaller joysticks, head controls and other switches can be fitted.
Who it suits best
- You use your wheelchair for most of the day
- You need posture support or pressure relief
- Your home has tight corners and narrow spaces
- Users up to 160 kg (25 stone)
Worth knowing before you buy
This is a large, heavy chair, from 145 kg with batteries, so it won't fold or go in a car boot. You will need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle and a level route in and out of your home. Every Q700 M is configured to the user, so it needs a proper assessment before ordering. If you only need a chair for occasional trips out, a folding or portable electric wheelchair will be lighter and simpler.
Questions customers ask us
How far will it go?
Up to 40 km (25 miles) with the optional 80Ah batteries. The standard 60Ah batteries give less, and your weight, the ground and hills all make a difference.
How fast does it go?
The standard settings are 6 or 8 km/h (about 4 or 5 mph). Faster 10 and 13 km/h options are available.
Can I try one?
Yes. We don't keep every model in stock, so please call us first. If there isn't one in the showroom we can usually arrange a demo chair, and we can carry out an assessment at home.
