Specifications
Reach higher, turn the way you face and drive both indoors and out
Everyday jobs at home can be the hardest part of using a wheelchair: reaching a kitchen cupboard, chatting at eye level, or getting from your chair to a perch stool or bed. The Rascal Rhythm Seat Lift helps with all three. A powered column lifts the seat by around 5 inches (12 cm) at the press of a button, so the worktop and the shelves come a little closer.
It also has a clever drive set-up. The seat turns so the chair can be driven front-wheel first for tight spaces indoors, or rear-wheel first for steadier progress outdoors. One chair, set up for the way you live.

Moves aside so you can pull right up to a table or desk, and stays out of the way when you transfer.Adjustable captain's seat and headrest
A padded, supportive seat set to your size, which is kinder to your back and neck if you sit for long spells.Air-filled tyres
Cushion the bumps over thresholds and paving, so fewer jolts reach your spine.Up to 15.6 miles (25 km) per charge
Plenty for days around the house plus trips to the shops or a friend's home.Carries up to 25 stone (159 kg)
A sturdy chair with a generous weight limit.

Who it suits best
- You want to reach worktops and shelves without help
- You use your chair mostly at home, with trips out on pavements
- You transfer by standing and would like a lift to help
- Users up to 25 stone (159 kg)
Worth knowing before you buy
The Rhythm is a solid indoor chair and weighs 95 kg, so it does not fold or go in a car boot — if you need to travel with your chair, a folding or dismantling electric wheelchair is the better choice. It tops out at 4 mph and climbs kerbs of about 5 cm, so it is not built for rough tracks or long countryside trips. A mid-wheel drive chair may suit you better if you mainly need tight turning outdoors as well.
Questions customers ask us
How high does the seat lift?
The column lift raises the seat by around 5 inches (12 cm).
Why would I drive it in two directions?
Front-wheel first is nimble round furniture indoors; rear-wheel first feels steadier and tracks straighter outdoors. You choose which suits where you are.
Can I see one first?
Yes. Call us first so we can check it's in stock — if it isn't, we can usually arrange a demo model, at the showroom or at home.
