Specifications
A powerful all-terrain road scooter with a heated seat
The ScooterPac Ignite is a Class 3 road scooter built for mixed ground: pavements, town, gravel paths, fields and hills. A 1400W motor, full active suspension and wide 14" air-filled tyres give you the confidence to go further, and a switchable heated seat keeps you comfortable when it's cold.
It's Mike's Choice. Mike, our Customer Services Director, bought one himself and calls it the best scooter he's ever had. Read Mike's honest review of the Ignite.

Worth knowing before you buy
The Ignite is 690mm (27.1") wide and 1700mm long, so measure your doorway and storage first. It doesn't come apart for a car. It has no front mudguards, so it can flick up dirt on gravel at speed. The Ignite Grande has mudguards all round but is wider. As a Class 3 scooter it must be registered with the DVLA, which is free.
Questions customers ask us
Can I use it on the pavement?
Yes. Class 3 scooters can go on the pavement at up to 4 mph and on the road at up to 8 mph.
How far will it really go?
Up to 40 miles in ideal conditions. A larger rider, cold weather or the heated seat will reduce that, so plan on around 30 miles.
Can I try one first?
Yes. Call us before visiting and we'll check one is ready. If not, we can usually arrange a demo, or ask about a free home assessment.

More questions about mobility scooters
How much does a mobility scooter cost?
It depends mostly on the type. Small boot scooters that come apart for the car are the most affordable, and larger 8 mph road scooters cost more. Every price is on the product page. If you have a long-term condition, you may be able to buy it VAT-free.
Will a mobility scooter fit in my car?
Boot scooters fold or come apart into lighter pieces that fit most car boots. Check the weight of the heaviest piece on the product page, and if lifting is a worry a car hoist can do it for you.
Can I get a mobility scooter through Motability?
Yes. We're Motability approved, so if you receive a qualifying mobility allowance you can use it towards a new scooter or electric wheelchair. Call us and we'll talk you through how it works.
What's included when I buy?
New products come with a 1-year return-to-base warranty, and you can upgrade to labour call-out cover for £55. Delivery to mainland UK is free on the base price, or choose Engineer Delivery (£150, or included where the product says so) and we'll deliver it, assemble it, set it up and show you how to use it.
