A dependable everyday electric wheelchair that goes the distance

When walking has become difficult, the right chair gives you back the simple things: popping to the shops, visiting a neighbour, getting round the garden. The Pride Jazzy Select is an electric wheelchair, also known as a powerchair, built for straightforward, reliable everyday use at home and out and about.

Its standout strength is range. Pride quotes up to 31.2 km (19.4 miles) on a charge, which is generous for a chair at this price, so you can plan a full day without worrying about the battery. Active-Trac suspension and solid tyres keep the ride smooth and fuss-free, and the captain's seat keeps you comfortable.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Jazzy Select is a full-size chair that weighs 56 kg without its batteries and is 111.8 cm long, so it does not fold for a car boot and needs a little room to manoeuvre in very small spaces. Top speed is 4 mph. If you need a chair to take in the car, look at folding or dismantling electric wheelchairs; if you need tilt, recline or a powered seat lift, ask us about chairs with those options.
