Worth knowing before you buy

The Apex Rapid is built for short distances. Even with the larger battery its range is up to 10.5 miles, so if you like long days out, a scooter with a bigger battery is a better choice. It's a 4 mph pavement scooter with small 8" solid wheels, so it's happiest on pavements and in shops rather than grass or gravel, and it can only climb obstacles up to 5 cm. It isn't suitable for road use.

If you mostly make short trips to local shops, the 12Ah is fine. If you want more freedom, the 18Ah nearly doubles the range.

Will it fit in my car boot?
It splits into five pieces, the heaviest 16 kg, so it suits most boots. Call us first to make sure one's in stock, then bring your car and we'll check with you — or we can usually arrange a demo model.
