Worth knowing before you buy

The Elite Traveller 2.0 is a pavement scooter with a top speed of 4 mph and no suspension. It sits low to the ground and has small solid wheels, so it's happiest on smooth pavements and indoors — grass, gravel and high kerbs aren't its strength. Range is modest too, so it suits shopping trips and days out rather than long journeys. If you want a softer ride or to go further, a mid-size scooter with suspension and larger wheels is a better choice.

Will it fit in my car?
In most cases, yes. It breaks down into five pieces with the heaviest about 16 kg, so it suits most hatchback boots. Call us to check one's in stock, then bring your car and we'll check.

Can I use it on the road?
No. It's a Class 2 pavement scooter, so it's for pavements, footpaths and indoors, and you don't need to register it.

How far will it go?
Pride quote up to 6.6 miles on the standard batteries and up to 10.4 miles on the larger pack, depending on the rider, the weather and hills.
