It's a big, sturdy, road-legal scooter with huge air-filled tyres and more ground clearance than anything else in Pride's range, so grass, gravel and rutted tracks stop being a worry.

It's built for larger riders too, carrying up to 32 stone (204 kg). Whether you're walking the dog across the park, following a bridleway or heading into the village by road, you can get out and explore on your own terms again.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Wrangler is a large, heavy scooter — 124 kg without its batteries — and it isn't designed to go in a car. It also needs plenty of room to turn, so it's not the best choice for tight shop aisles or narrow paths at home. If you mainly stay on pavements and in town, a compact road scooter will be easier to live with. As a Class 3 scooter it must be registered with the DVLA, which is free.

Questions customers ask us

Can I really use it off-road?
Yes, within reason. The high clearance and large air tyres are made for grass, gravel and rough tracks. Very steep or boggy ground is best avoided on any scooter.

What's the difference between the two battery options?
The standard batteries suit most riders. The larger batteries hold more charge, which is worth having if you plan long days out.
