Its back is made from fibre-filled pillow panels that can be moved, adjusted and even re-filled, so the support sits exactly where your body needs it.

Like all Rise Recline bespoke chairs, it's made in Britain to your measurements, with the mechanism and fabric you choose. It lifts you gently to standing and reclines so you can rest your legs and relax properly.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Lateral is made to order around one person, so allow time for it to be built. Getting the panels right takes a little fine-tuning, which we'll help with. If you need significant pressure care or someone will move you around the house in your chair, a healthcare or porter chair on castors may suit you better.

Questions customers ask us

Can the back be changed later if my needs change?
Yes. The panels attach with Velcro and the filling can be adjusted through the zips, so the support can be altered over time.

Can I sit in one before ordering?
We don't keep every chair in stock, so please call first and we'll check — if there isn't one in the showroom, we can usually arrange a demo model. A free home assessment is also available.
