Riser Recliner Chairs By Movements
Different mechanisms provide the smooth movement and functionality to suit your comfort requirements and the space available.
Single Motor Tilt in Space
Great comfort plus good for circulation and pressure relief as the users ankles elevate higher than the hips.
Single Motor Wall Hugger
Designed for smaller spaces, it moves through the same motions as the Single Motor Tilt in Space but can operate in less space as it does so by cleverly operating over its own axis.
Standard Dual Motor
This movement offers independent leg rest and back rest functions and does not have tilt‐in‐space. Suitable for users who cannot tolerate tilt‐in‐space. It does not elevate the ankles above the hips as the tilt‐in‐space mechanisms do.
Dual Motor Tilt in Space
Suitable for skeletal issues and if you need regular alterations in position. Different mechanisms provide the functionality to suit your comfort requirements and available space.

Your Questions Answered
Straight answers to the questions people ask us most about rise and recline chairs.
What is a rise and recline chair?
It's an armchair with a motor that gently tilts you forward to help you stand up, and reclines back so you can put your feet up. It's all done with a simple handset.
Single motor or dual motor?
With a single motor the back and leg rest move together. A dual motor lets you move them separately, so you can sit upright with your legs raised.
Why does the size of the chair matter?
A chair that fits you, with your feet flat on the floor and the seat the right depth and width, is more comfortable and helps you stand more easily. We offer free home assessments for riser chairs, so call 01789 339 738 to book.
How much does a riser recliner cost?
It depends on whether it's ready-made or made to measure, the motor type and the fabric. Prices are on each product page. If you have a long-term condition, you may be able to buy it VAT-free.
Can I sit in one before I buy?
We don't keep every model in stock, so give us a call on 01789 339 738 first and we'll check it's in our Stratford-upon-Avon showroom. If it isn't, we can usually arrange a demo model for you.
How is it delivered?
Delivery to mainland UK is free on the base price, or choose Engineer Delivery (£150, or included where the product says so) and we'll deliver it, assemble it, set it up and show you how to use it.
Still got a question? Call us on 01789 339 738 and we'll be happy to help.
