The Royal is made in Britain to your own measurements, in the mechanism and fabric you choose. That means it fits your body properly, supports you as you rise, and looks like a much-loved armchair rather than a piece of equipment.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Royal is made to order for one person, so expect to wait while it's built and get measured properly first. Soft bolster cushions are wonderfully comfy but give less firm, shaped support than a lateral or tilt-in-space chair designed for posture care. If you need a chair straight away, ask us about ready-made riser recliners.

Will it suit a heavier person?
Yes. Heavy duty mechanisms go up to 40 stone, and bariatric versions cover 50 to 70 stone.

Can I try a Royal before ordering?
We don't keep every chair in stock, so please ring first and we'll check what's in the showroom — if there isn't one, we can usually arrange a demo model. We also offer free home assessments.
