Worth knowing before you buy

Because each Sandringham is made to order for one person, it takes time to build and won't fit someone of a very different size as well. If you choose the wall hugger to save space, it can feel a little less steady when fully raised. If you need a chair in a hurry, ask us about ready-made riser recliners instead.

Questions customers ask us

Does it need much space behind it?
That depends on the mechanism. The wall hugger needs only 4–5 inches behind it to recline, so it's handy in smaller rooms.

Can I try one before ordering?
We don't keep every chair in stock, so call first and we'll check — if there isn't one in the showroom, we can usually arrange a demo model. A free home assessment is also available.
