Dhougal cares for his dad, who's in his nineties. His week is full of trips into Stratford for shopping, medical supplies and prescriptions, and his legs won't do them all on foot any more. We asked him to tell us, in his own words, what Stratford Shopmobility means to him.
Why he uses Shopmobility
"I can still walk, but I can't walk in and out of town four times a day any more. So I walk into Shopmobility, and then I'm able to take out a mobility scooter and do my shopping, or get medical supplies for my dad, or get prescriptions."
Dhougal
How it feels to come in
"I never have a sense of dread or anything like that. I always feel good, always feel it's a welcoming atmosphere."
Dhougal
What he thinks of the team
"Generally it's a pleasure to interact with the staff. Of course, all the staff have their individual personalities, and I wouldn't want it to be any other way."
Dhougal
Would he recommend it?
"If you do have trouble getting about on your legs, it really is indispensable, really. I would recommend that people try it."
Dhougal
And off he goes
