What is a fireside chair?
It's a high-seat chair with a firm, upright back and sturdy arms, which makes it easier to sit down and get up again.
Fireside chair or rise and recline chair?
A fireside chair suits you if you can stand up with a little help from the arms. If you need the chair to help you up, or want to put your feet up, look at a rise and recline chair.
What seat height do I need?
Your feet should rest flat on the floor with your knees at about a right angle. Measure from the floor to the back of your knee and call us on 01789 339 738 if you'd like help.
Can I sit in one before I buy?
We don't keep every model in stock, so give us a call on 01789 339 738 first and we'll check it's in our Stratford-upon-Avon showroom. If it isn't, we can usually arrange a demo model for you.
Can I get VAT relief?
VAT relief only applies to certain products, so ask us about the chair you like and we'll tell you whether it qualifies.
