Active wheelchairs are a different thing altogether from a standard chair. They're lightweight, built to the user's measurements and designed for people who self-propel all day. Since January 2025 we've supplied 22 active wheelchairs.
5 of those customers have reported a fault since, 5 faults in all, each one a single call-out.

What this tells us
The Rehasense Icon 60 and Quickie's rigid chairs, the Nitrum and Krypton, were our most popular active wheelchairs, with Kuschall and Permobil TiLite chairs for people who wanted something more specialised.
Getting an active chair right means measuring properly: seat width and depth, back height, centre of gravity, wheel position and frame angles. That's why we do it face to face, and why we stay involved as your needs change.

How we counted: these figures cover sales from our Stratford-upon-Avon showroom between January 2025 and October 2026. "Faults reported" counts the times a customer called us out, or brought equipment in, because something had gone wrong after they bought from us: a repair, a breakdown, a puncture, a part failing. Routine annual services are not counted, and several visits for the same problem count as one fault. It can include problems with other equipment the customer owns. Models we only sold once with no faults are listed by name below the table.
